children's museum

This morning we went to INK, the children's museum here in Gainesville. The girls had a ball!
grocery shopping (Cora chose 2 cartons of ice cream, syrup, baby cookies, a banana and Pedialyte, huh?)
following in Aunt Becky's footsteps...
playing in the beauty salon
Reaching for the pedals of a firetruck from the 1920s

Playing in a police car
Daddy arresting her!?!?
look at that mug!
cousins shot on the ATV
milking the cow

looking adorable with those two front teeth :)
(and dreaming about being big enough to join her big sister and cousin!)

just hanging out

Here's a few pictures from the past few days. Even though we're in the south, it certainly feels like winter and we're grateful for our warm clothing :)

"Snow Mountain" at Stone Mountain

... Otherwise known as dress your kid in snowgear and play in the fake but wonderful snow!
This is a very important place from Greg's childhood. It was so fun to visit and see everything in person. We spent the day with friends Kristin and Ryan and their kids Zac and Kayla and Kristin's mom Debbie -- it was great!
the girls are on the left side of the family tube -- clearly not enough weight to "win!"

Three Confederate heroes of the Civil War; President Jefferson Davis and Generals Robert E. Lee and Thomas J. "Stonewall" Jackson, carved in granite
Emi spent most of the day snoozing in her cozy snowsuit
our little snow angel

she hasn't slept so well as after this day!

Emi finally got her own babydoll
her diamond teething ring :)
WHAT a scene!!!

Greg and Duke's beautiful creation -- YES it tasted as good as it looks!
a special treat, Cora got to use daddy's silver cup for her dinner vessel!
all she wanted for Christmas was her 2 front teeth --- and she got 'em!
