Lil'r M update...
It's been awhile, but don't want to bore you with details... I'm now almost 36 weeks pregnant. This baby continues to challenge me and has me counting the days til arrival! I was diagnosed last week with polyhydramnios, which means excessive amniotic fluid, which means my belly is HUGE, which means I'm pretty uncomfortable. I measure like I'm already at my due date and baby weighs about 2 lbs more than expected. I seriously doubt I'll make it to June til this arrival. My providers are monitoring me closely and I have appointments twice a week now. I get tests then for baby's well-being and fluid level measurements. They can't seem to figure why I have this excess fluid, but they don't seem too concerned and I am trying to not be, as well. I am so grateful to have my mom here since Greg is gone... she's very helpful especially with Cora running around constantly. My dad will come next week, which will be equally helpful. I have also secured a birth doula to provide me support while in labor (it'll be nice to be on the other end of that service since I worked as a doula for a few years before becoming a midwife!) Otherwise, I suppose it's time to get ready...

See you later, Daddy!
Here are some pix from the airport as we sent Greg away yesterday. His flights were uneventful and he's safely in Norfolk currently, getting prepared for further training. Mom flew in about 30 minutes before Greg left, which was a wonderful distraction for us all! Good luck and stay safe, Greg!
