Throughout the year, Fireman Jason visits the preschool monthly. This was the last visit of the year and the kids posed for a picture. Having never met the guy, I must say he's pretty influential, as Cora boldly states she wants to be a firefighter when she grows up!

Happy "for real" Birthday, Cora!

We had a great 4th birthday celebration today! No school, so we "played" all day long. Even Greg got to join us early (thanks to going into work VERY early and leaving mid-afternoon). We went to the Memphis Zoo for a couple of hours and to Chick fil A for dinner before presents and cookie cake. We also measured and marked height -- Cora's just shy of 44 inches tall :)

This morning I got to attend school with Cora. We ate muffins and played with tools! Cora gave me my mother's day gift --- a bracelet she made for me and a beautiful hand-painted purse :)

Downtown Memphis

The girls stayed home from school today to hang with their grandparents. We decided to visit the Peabody Hotel and watch the ducks march, eat some BBQ at Blues Cafe and stroll down Beale Street. The weather cooperated and we had a ball!
