Ain't they cute?!?!

(no, Louisa hasn't regressed and started taking a pacifier; she's teething and it's the only thing that seems to work on her sore gums!)

Dragon Dash 2014

We've joined the PTA and started the fundraising! Cora's school holds a Dragon Dash every fall where the kids run a mile and get pledges. Greg was supposed to run with her, but had a meeting he could not miss, so I got to (so glad we went first at 9:15, as it was already hot enough for me to exercise outside!)
The tunnel where the football team runs through was part of each lap. We also got sprayed with water, got to skip and run with a pom pom.

Posing with Blister, the school mascot
We ran hand-in-hand and were one of the only parent-child teams that actually ran

Wacky-tacky day

It's Spirit Week at Cora's school. I failed to get pictures of the themes, but this is the best one I promise! She dressed herself completely (I helped with her hair…)

Checking in at preschool...

Emi and Louisa are adjusting well to this year in preschool. Here are a couple precious shots I have to share!
This awesome "buggy" is how the toddler class gets around… When she saw me, Lou tried to escape, which is why she has such a look of determination on her face.

A wet visit to the Germantown Festival

The hands' down highlight was the "weenie dog races" that we watched…. not so much the downpour and subsequent mud bowl of a festival...

Raining cats and dogs, ha ha

Labor Day weekend

We were itching to do something this weekend and were so happy to convince Oba and Sofu to meet us in Louisville, KY! It's half-way between our homes, so we thought it would be a good place. Plus there's a Drury Inn there (a fun dog-friendly, free food and booze kinda hotel with indoor pool) that we have enjoyed before!
Fabulous shot of the backseat on our trip there… nice photo bomb Finn!
