Playing around outside

Spring is here and it feels wonderful! We're at the great time when we don't need to spend every spare moment in the yard doing work, so we are able to JUST ENJOY it!
 Swinging in the backyard
FINALLY using a big-girl swing and loving it
 Counting down til opening day!
POSING by the flowers and not picking… takes a ton of will power as they want to pick everything!
Something tells me there will be many memories around our giant magnolia tree...

Cora swims

Cora started swimming lessons at the beginning of the month in level 1 and finished completing level 3! She exudes great confidence in the pool, we are so proud of her :) We are excited to see where she ends this month.

A Birthday Tea Party

Always loving tea parties, we decided to have one for Oba before they headed home for Michigan today… So fun that Louisa really got to join in the fun :)

Happy Birthday, Oba!

We LOVE celebrating birthdays! So happy to have Oba here for her special day :)

Happy 13 months, Louisa!

She's a pretty fun little girl… STILL not walking and not really showing any interest in starting, sigh!

Hanging out with the Grandparents

Oba and Sofu are visiting and getting a taste of how crazy busy our lives are! They are a big help with childcare while we shuffle about between swimming, gymnastics, violin lessons and school. Not to mention the date night allowed to Greg and I :) We're enjoying showing them around and visiting some fun places!

Helping Greg attempt to finally hang a piece of art we purchased in Japan… but it's still not done!

AFTER

Cora and I decided to donate our hair, as we have a lot to give… she really seemed proud to be able to share her hair with sick children who don't have hair (and understand it, really…) We are donating it to "Wigs for Kids," who seem reputable and giving. Wish we could see the wigs made :)
 Entering the salon
Measuring
Cora ended up losing 11 inches, I lost 19 inches

Ta-dah!
