This morning we saw a mallard couple swimming in our pond! We've never seen them before and we hope they found it comfortable and will return. Cora got very quiet and serious and asked "what do they eat?" -- clearly fearful for our fishes lives... she was appeased by "duck food." Now I hope it's true!
