OK, we're crazy, I suppose, but we decided to visit the Memphis Zoo today, despite it being 75 degrees and beautiful AND the last day of spring break. Needlesstosay, we were forced to park in the neighborhood surrounding the zoo rather than their parking lot... sure glad we have to double stroller and wore sneakers! This was our first trip to the zoo and we were pleasantly surprised with how much we enjoyed it --- very walkable and the exhibits were really nice. We didn't feel rushed or crowded at all.
If only we remembered the sunscreen, oops...
baby giraffe born January 13th
Emi actually was interested in seeing the animals this time!
the polar bears were really lazy, but this photo at least got him stretching in his nap
Cora was HILARIOUS with consulting the map --- she was keeper of it and VERY reluctant to let anyone else see it. She even took a pen to check off the places we already went! (This picture was not a posed one, I swear...)
the giant panda YaYa was a favorite of the day
the Irish lassies awaiting lunch
An attempt at 3 generation photo, too bad Emi is melting down.... time to go!
Thanks Sofu for being the photographer today :)
