Just when I thought I'd had enough museums, I happened upon this one and was happy to be inside in the warmth while I wandered about life-size villages dating back a few centuries. They offered to dress me in kimono to stroll about, but I don't think it would have been much fun alone. So instead I wandered and took pictures and honestly reminisced about our house in Japan. I loved smelling the tatami floors and seeing the simplicity in decor. I wish we could translate that better to our home in Tennessee.
